YES – I believe it is best to follow a guru for the following 6 reasons, assuming said guru is the real deal, has made a shed load of money in IM and you trust him/her…
1 It will minimise the time you have to spend looking for opportunities, your guru will usually present those to you..
2 They will give you time- saving hints and tips, tutorials, video presentations and software tools
3 Their continued on line success depends on their reputation, so they are under a serious obligation to over-deliver to you
4 They will be able to give you feedback on your efforts, offer advice and work with you to help you succeed
5 They may have their own members- only forum which can be of immense help and encouragement as you are all in a community together and can help and support each other as you learn
6 They can save you money on things like hosting, buying domains, marketing, PPC campaigns, Google Adsense and others
My favourite Online gurus are: google these names and LEARN
Justin Brooke Web site flipping, SEO, Content
Russell Brunson Justin’s Guru, IM master
Travis Sago Bum Marketing Master
Frank Kern Ninja tactics for Mass control
Jason Moffatt Video Marketing
Kyle and Carson The Internet Marketing University!
Potpie girl SEO, content, general IM sound advice
Avril Harper Ebay Marketing, affiliate marketing
(My humblest apologies to anyone I have left out or forgotten to include)
These people to a greater or lesser extent have enlightened, entertained and TRAINED me in Internet Marketing techniques.
I have found them to be straight talking, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and committed to helping the growing numbers of people to make a living from Internet Marketing in various forms, NO B.S., NO Scams, just honest, cool, intelligent, hard working people that if you want to learn about IM and are prepared to work at it tirelessly to build a business, because, (make no mistake that’s what it’s about..as soon as you build a website, put some banner ads and affiliate products up and start trying to get traffic you are starting a business)
Then these are some of the people you need to take notice of, check them out, their reputations speak for themselves as they have clearly distinguished themselves in their fields as experts. You could so do a lot worse and it can often be as simple as getting on their emailing list and read what they send you.
Sure, they will occasionally pitch things to you but you are under no obligation to buy them (although you may be tempted) so my advice is to check these people out, see what other people are saying about them, join a couple of emailing lists (they do not spam, they value their reputations far too highly to sink to that level) and learn from the masters, for FREE.
